A Note From Ms. Reilly

Principal’s Post…

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am happy to welcome you and your child to the 2019-2020 school year at Pocasset Elementary School.  I hope you share in my excitement and enthusiasm for a great year ahead! We have many new exciting additions to our school including new staff and programs! Our first day of school for all students is Thursday, August 29, 2019. School now begins at 8:30 each day!

On behalf of the Pocasset learning community, we would like to extend a warm welcome to our new students and their families. I am looking forward to meeting you all.

Classroom assignments were e-mailed out August 16th. Please note that consideration of all educational, academic and social factors were the primary determinants in regarding placement.  Since the class lists were designed to ensure a balance, changes will not be made. We have an excellent and dedicated staff. Our teachers are individually different, yet each contributes so much to their students.

I am eager to work with all of you.  The home-school link is essential in helping your child develop into a happy and productive learner.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Your Partner in Education,
Deanne L. Reilly, Principal
